The mission of Afro Culture is to connect and empower creatives and diasporic talents. We are therefore pleased to present and salute the collective of artists hosting the Free Kongo Relief Concert on Saturday 15th March 2025, in Leeds, UK. The spelling of Kongo with a K is intentional pointing out to the Ancient Kingdom of Kongo, uniting people and lands.

In hosting this concert, the Free Kongo collective wants to contribute to raising awareness on this devastating global crisis and amplifying the plight of the people of Goma at the mercy of unspeakable cruelty.

Artists always have an interesting vantage point, thinking outside the box and challenging both mindsets and hearts, to bring forth lasting solutions. Free Kongo collective will use their artistry on Saturday 15th March 2025 to raise funds to support their families, friends and community initiatives on the ground. A MISSION NONE CAN IGNORE

Whether you are Congolese or not, All lives in the entire world have directly or indirectly benefited from the pain and suffering of the people of Congo throughout the years. The 1st Apple Iphone was released mid 2007. Some may even remember how the product came out and slowly took Blackberry out of the race. Every Apple product contains minerals found in illegal mines all over Congo. Goma being attacked was very HEARTLESS. Black on Black crime inspired by Non-Blacks, Non-Africans, and Non-Melanated people is a sort of evil game that has been played since the beginning of time it seems like.

A silent genocide in the Congo has always been active. Today we believe it could very well be one of the most corrupt nations in Africa. This relief concert will take place in Leeds thanks to an organisation named UTM who offered a helping hand at raising awareness. The tickets are currently on sale online, and the clothes are now being sold online. The prices are in USD to ease everyone's approach to these products. 50 USD is about 40 GBP, whereas 50 GBP is about 63 USD.

The goal is simply to raise awareness, raise funds and directly help the people of Goma. This is not a one person mission but rather a mission none can ignore.
